As I’ve mentioned, I think we’re past the point of avoiding a major disruption in American society. Our enemies have attacked us on so many levels, with so many interlocking dependencies that the entire system has seized up trying to figure out what to do about it.
As an example, the war on women has been a long game orchestrated on multiple self-reinforcing fronts — requiring them to rig the system to install Christian extremists on SCOTUS over several decades, taking over the Republican Party, and eroding Roe v. Wade at the state level.
Undoing this catastrophic perversion of our system is not going to be quick, and might not even be possible. In the meantime, women will die, be stripped of their autonomy and be sent back a half-century economically.
I’m not waiting a half-century to unfuck this mess. And I’m not waiting one minute to defend women’s rights. So what can we actually achieve in the short term that will help at least mitigate the damage?
What I’m interested in is a Coalition of the Unwilling to Be Plunged Into the Handmaid’s Tale that has actual, achievable goals that we are not going to negotiate on, and will take whatever measures are necessary to meet them.
Here’s one idea:
Shame publicly traded mega-corporations Apple and Google to remove Telegram from their stores, which would reduce the amount of poison going into tens of millions of American minds overnight.
How does that help women? Well, part of the reason our world is so insane is that we are allowing brainwashing mills to suck in our citizens online and make them act — and vote — against their own interests. As I have written about, women and particularly moms, have been targeted ruthlessly by these cults.
Moreover, I would guess that if we disrupted all the major propaganda platforms from poisoning American minds, you would see a huge shift back to the center, which has been intentionally hollowed out by radicalization. That could easily save our majorities in 2022, which we must do in order to codify Roe v. Wade.
Best idea so far: mobilize women. Women are the most valuable natural resource there is. Fertile wombs are scarce. That's why we've been corralled, herded, and branded since the dawn of humanity.
I'm a little confused about Telegram. (Be patient with me--I'm not too tech savvy, to say the least.--Anyway, I know Telegram is a putrid cesspool in the US. But I thought it was one of the few ways Russian residents could communicate online...? I think Zelensky's speeches to Russia were on Telegram? So can it be shut down here, and not there, or what? Thanks.
I believe most modern day counter-culture movements started with artists, youth, academia, free-thinkers. And a lot of good movements for Civil/Environmental/ Women’s Rights became infiltrated by people who basically sabotaged the original intentions of these movements. The Civil Rights movement of the 60’s/70s was violent and deadly. There have been Environmental Terrorists. And this attack on Democracy feels much more likely to result in some serious violence and death for those willing to fight back. I am not condoning violece, but look how absolutely radicalized the far right is.
So I am getting in touch with some of the artists and youth in the Nashville area to see what angles they are coming up with. And there are some fantastic politicians in TN, but they are by far outnumbered. I mean we have Marsha FFS. So I agree with all the great ideas posted above : Lord KatheO , you are a bonafide Banshee 😂🤍✊🏻. This is not really a solution , but just an observation of the overall Social movements in the past. There are so many threads of resistence to organize, but we can do it. Don’t give up. Hold each other up.
I’d like to team up with some like minded people to disrupt (while piggy-backing off of) Twitter in a way that’s pro-democracy and steers clear of web3 bullshit. Here’s a draft I’m planning to talk with Dave Troy about (also a techie) and I’d love to collaborate with others. This should be a public project, not owned by anyone, and built in a way that it can’t easily be subverted by evil assholes. Link is here:

As Judd Legum posted some time ago a lot of corporations publicly support equal rights for women and gay-rights as well. But those same corporations donate to Republican candidates that oppose these points of view.
Shame them in public, drain the donation money from Republican candidates and make sure they are not re-elected.
