As many of you know, I invested thousands and thousands of hours into my Twitter account and built a large following. A group of internet terrorists — and I use that word intentionally — smeared and defamed me for two years and managed to get me permanently banned for not breaking any rules. Dozens of my followers and friends have had it happen to them too. Twitter has always been a shitshow, but we ain’t seen nothing yet.
Musk’s stated intention of increasing “free speech” is a lie. He wants to free hate speech on his platform. Trump may be back tomorrow but I guarantee you, I will not.
These are the people behind the rise of fascism and Musk is leading the charge. He’s been allowed to metastasize into a pro-Putin chaos agent who now has hundreds of millions of people to steer in the direction he wants.
So, even if you plan to stay on Twitter, archive your account. Do it now. It’s going to be a vortex of propaganda and hate — and Musk will use it to continue his personal assault on American democracy.
We are about to enter the most challenging period in recent history. The midterms are going to be a nightmare and the results will be unclear for months. This sets the stage for mass violence which is ultimately the goal.
I continue to believe we will get through this, but we have to stick together and take care of one another in the process. I will do my best to keep people informed.

Thank you for the advice. I haven't been on twitter for some time now, however my account is still active. KatheO was right. A new regulated - to some extent - social media platform is needed.
The U.S. Government must start to take action against Twitter/Elon : Prosecute the suicide trolls, those targeting the children and the vulnerable, those spreading mis/disinformation, those targeting people who are brave and empathetic enough to tell the Truth. That's a start at least. Silicon Valley has been manipulated for decades. Is Elon's brother or mom on the board?
