I watched season 1 of the Search for Q... When Brennan appeared, I didn’t expect it, although it made perfect sense. The way he tried to charm M and B felt off-- unctuous , partly because I am (obviously) biased. Too nice anyway, too helpful. Like when the culprit hangs out with Hercule Poirot to steer the investigation away from himself. Brennan must have hated the ending of episode 3, since they present him as one of the people responsible for spreading the poison.
