BREAKING: Highland Park Murderer Knew the Location at Least Ten Months Ahead of Time [UPDATES]
Robert Crimo is a white nationalist Trump supporter — now in custody.
Before his social media was taken down, @gal_suburban, @clayberg and I archived as much of it as possible. It’s still very early but several things have emerged.
He was a white nationalist Trump supporter familiar with 4chan symbology
He was likely an “incel”
He was severely disturbed for at least two years and had a huge trail of flashing red lights on social media
Like the Buffalo shooter, he had a Discord server
His father is a Christian, 2A / Trump supporter who ran for Mayor of Highland Park
It is also clear he scouted the location well ahead of time. Here’s a frame from a video downloaded from his suspended YouTube channel. Note the tracks. The video appears to be him driving the parade route.
The video was uploaded ten months ago.
Here’s a Google Map of part of the parade route today. The same tracks are circled below. This proves he was planning this crime well in advance.
Here is selection of screenshots from his last video, posted 8 months ago. It is an extremely disturbing video full of the symbology of mass murder and white nationalist violence.
He was also an erstwhile rapper.
His father ran for Mayor of Highland Park in 2018.
Both father and son are major Trump supporters. Robert Crimo got within about 20 feet of Donald Trump’s vehicle.
Here he is in red pants at a Trump rally.

Finally, the murderer seems obsessed with this symbol — which doesn’t appear to be common. If anyone has seen this symbol before please contact me.
UPDATE 1:
The murderer appears to have been heavily influenced by “fashwave” which is a sub genre of music that glorifies fascist symbology and ideas. Fashwave was descended from “vaporwave.”
The “Sad Boys” on the murderers shirt above refers to a Swedish rapper “Yung lean” — a prominent vaporwave artist who was adopted into 4chan symbology and took a hard right turn in his politics towards Trumpism.
Note the fashwave aesthetic has been normalized by people including Jack Dorsey, Elon Musk and Marjorie Taylor Greene as well as groups like “Dark MAGA” — including Amanda Milius who was on the board of former Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller’s consulting company.
Fashwave is a fundamentally fascist, racist movement influenced by ideologies promoted by people like Julius Evola — who advised Hitler and helped give birth to modern fascism. Evola is Steve Bannon’s muse.

Two officers shot in Philadelphia after fireworks started, causing a panic.
UPDATE 3:
While the ties are circumstantial so far, the killer’s ubiquitous use of this symbol, along with his interest in Swedish fashwave, makes Finnish neo-nazi organization Suomen Sisu of interest.

Their own ideological statement is an intentional mirror of the neo-nazi slogan “14 words.”
“We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children”
Is that what he meant by promoting this symbol?
UPDATES TO FOLLOW
Crimo seems to be a fan of Jack Ruby.
Ruby was a Jewish homosexual conservative, who shot an innocent left-wing Marxist.
I think this is the parallel between Crimo and Ruby.
