A path forward

Greetings Jim:

Some years ago, I came across a pdf pamphlet that was presumed to be original white paper material from the Open Society Institute. The same Open Society Institute was founded and led by George Soros. Now, it is likely that the pdf was filled with spelling errors. Even so, the paper had mentioned a path forward to move away from a failing government and a failed state. The main consideration in this newer form of government would be intellectual output. In short, the current and future leaders of the US would be determined not by votes, campaign, or money; but rather by one’s intelligence and ability to know answers to any questions. A good template of how this would be approached would be like the National Geographic Bee. Only larger in scope, open to anyone, and quite honestly mandatory.

Here, I have an example of how this would go. You would be going to do your personal needs when at any given time, an electronic response would occur within you in which you would need to answer questions of any kind to proceed forward with your day. So, just to sample the idea: I could be asked “what kind of car did Gatsby of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel The Great Gatsby drive?” The answer is a yellow Rolls Royce. However, many do not know the answer. And if they do not know that answer, what else do they know or lack thereof? You see if you know the answer you can advance. I do not know the answer and it is time for a thorough education on the matter and related issues. Answer certain questions and projects without aid or premature failure and you will be eligible for formal qualifications to participate in an international and knowledge based Olympic games of some kind. Starting locally, then city wide and statewide and finally national. Whoever wins the grand prize will become head of the state. Others will be chosen by specific knowledge qualifications to run certain sections of government.

Now, what would be the question and information asked? As mentioned earlier, it would be minute details about certain matters of life and leadership. Knowing, for example, the wording of loopholes in who could be considered Speaker of the House and President Pro Tempore will go a long way towards one upping the opposition. It would also be useful to counteract the propaganda we have been seeing. Just recently, the Republican talking points on crime has been through the roof. People of little intelligence do not realize that in the GQP, crime=black. That is, replace the word crime with the word black and you will know their true intentions. Yet that is only possible if education and knowledge are compulsory. And the only way to do that is by enforcing knowledge and quizzes on the populace. We have seen this compulsory change in ideals with regards to the Sars-CoV-2 pandemic and the need for technological advancement along with social planning. I am not advocating going back to lockdown orders, just to be clear. What I am advocating is to have centralized government, based on knowledge and not elective polling, be given the tools to lead national and international governments. We simply cannot trust undereducated fools deciding policy which affects all. I doubt that many of them are even people who read their local newspapers, or any newspaper for that matter.

The path forward is to be found not in antiquated documents which were not even suitable for the times they were written. It is to be found in determining the intelligence or lack thereof of people in a world where the smartest one is king or queen. Make no mistake; a nation and its people with little knowledge is a nation and its people ripe for infiltration and invasion. I do not know what the future holds for this country at the current rate. Except to change the entire way of thinking and forms of government we have seen worldwide.

Other things being equal, it is better to be smart than to be stupid. - Dr. Carl Sagan, Cosmos.

Best Wishes and Kindest Regards,

Robert Kelly
