CRACK: MAGA Civil War Presents Real Opportunity

Elon Musk: “Without me Trump would’ve lost the election… Such ingratitude.”

I have been writing for several days about the emerging cracks in the MAGA coalition, but today a shot heard around the world presents real opportunity for those of us who still have a soft spot for our former democracy.

In response to Trump’s comments in a breathtakingly embarrassing Oval Office meeting with German Chancellor Freidrich Merz, in which Trump dismissed Elon Musk’s contribution to his election victory, Musk shot back:

“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.

Such ingratitude.”

This is an unrecoverable split. Trump cannot, in his molecules, allow anyone else to take credit for his election. Even if they kiss and make up, Trump will never trust Elon Musk again.

For MAGA, who were trained through Musk’s platform and Trump’s campaign that they would always be together, this is a moment that may provide some clarity. Mommy and Daddy are breaking up, and the kids are not even part of the conversation. And whenever reality breaks through the manufactured world of MAGA, it creates an opportunity to reach people. This is such a time.

There is a growing fear across the political spectrum of a surveillance state being put in place by Peter Thiel, Elon Musk and the PayPal Mafia. I have heard real concern in spaces from the far-left to the neo-Nazi right about Palantir and the “master database” they are being paid to compile on American citizens.

Turns out, no one wants a surveillance state. No one.

But the truth is that the surveillance state already exists. Palantir has already collected enough information to psychologically profile everyone in the United States and most of the world. And Elon Musk already downloaded everything the government had while he was in there. The PayPal Mafia already have it all.

However, if the federal government stops cooperating with them, and stops giving them our updated personal information, that is better than them working on state-sponsored surveillance together. And if Elon Musk uses his platform to weaken Trump and his regime, that is better than the opposite.

People who still value democracy should take the opportunity to ensure that the connection between South African oligarchs Elon Musk, Peter Thiel and “Crypto-AI Czar” David Sacks is made clear. Palantir should be highlighted as a dangerous, vicious company that hoards data, and weaponizes it to kill people all over the world. Recall Mossad and the IDF are using Palantir to target civilians in Gaza.

Moreover, AI should be portrayed as a valuable but volatile, and existentially dangerous technology that must be highly regulated, and must be taken out of the hands of people who would abuse it for their own evil, greedy purposes. There is a reason that there is a provision in the “big, beautiful bill” to prevent States from regulating AI for ten years. The PayPal Mafia wants to control it. That must not happen.

When talking about AI, it’s important to remember what the PayPal Mafia did when they got their hands on “social media.” Peter Thiel was the first investor in Facebook, before it sucked in billions of people and provided all their data to companies like Cambridge Analytica, a cutout which was no longer needed when Trump won. When Elon Musk says “Trump would have lost the election,” he’s telling the truth. The effect of Musk distorting Twitter to turn it into a psyops cannon for foreign propaganda, domestic radicalization and the Trump campaign was, in my view, decisive. It was election interference, right in the open.

But social media doesn’t take your job away. Social media is not going to be integrated into everything we do. It was a devastating first act for the tech bros that allowed them to, as Peter Thiel said “unilaterally change the world,” but the coup de grace will be artificial intelligence—if we allow it.

There are certain movements on the left, and a crew of Vichy Democrats, which seek to cooperate with the apartheid oligarchy that took over Silicon Valley. They use silly slogans like “Abundance” to pretend that there’s plenty to go around if we all just work together. Bullshit.

The psychopaths that we’ve allowed to accumulate this wealth and this technology must not be appeased or negotiated with. As I’ve tried to explain in heavy detail, these are people with a Dark Tetrad psychology that have no mercy, no empathy and no soul. Artificial intelligence is not a human being, and human beings are not a “biological bootloader” for AI, despite the assertions of the richest man.

We cannot fall for the same trick as we did over the last 30 years of the internet, of trusting the worst people in the world with our most important technologies. The consolidation of our data and access to our minds by billionaires who can shape our reality into whatever suits them, is the fundamental battle we must win. This is not a time for negotiating, appeasing or cooperating. This is the moment to take advantage of the weakness of our adversary and win hearts and minds.

The psychological war I have been writing about for many years is roaring to the surface, and the players are being perfectly clear. The sleeping giant they forgot about is the rest of us. It may be hopium, but I can feel the signs that the giant is, in fact, waking up.
