Doomscrolling the Revolution
Honestly, when do we revolt?
This morning as I was doing my usual survey of the American catastrophe, in a moment of pique I tweeted this off the top of my head.
Starved 300,000 kids to death
Got us into a new war with Iran
Abandoned Ukraine & Europe
Wants largest wealth transfer to 1% in history
Mass cuts to Medicare, SS & SNAP
Selling national parks
Wants Trump Gaza
Took a jet from Qatar
Let DOGE steal our data
Deployed Armed Forces on US city
Deploying anonymous, masked thugs to terrorize the population
Attempting to eliminate habeas corpus & Posse Comitatus
Humiliated military with birthday parade
Drunk rapist Fox host in charge of most lethal force in the world
Russian compromised cult member heading national intelligence
Destroyed scientific & research community
Attempting to eliminate vaccine protection
Attempting to destroy Dept. of Education & universities
Attempting to destroy the free press & free speech
Attempting to eliminate separation of church & state
Arrested & charged mayor, Congresswoman, judge & union leader
Violently detained a Senator for asking a question
Most racist administration since the 19th century
Honestly, when do we revolt?
The final question is of course the big one. When, and how, do the American people extract ourselves from the horrific situation we’ve gotten ourselves into?
The answer may come from unusual places. Here is Russian state media deriding Trump’s flagpoles. [Source]
The reason this is relevant to the cause of the Second Revolution is that the Russians are extremely important to Donald Trump, not just for helping to get him elected, but to keeping his grip on the information environment—which is the true source of his power. Not only are the Russians directly attacking Trump but, according to Trump’s own propagandists, Russian intelligence is “attempting to destroy MAGA with [a] disinformation bot army.”

Trump’s popularity is sinking. Even MAGA is starting to turn on Trump’s gestapo ICE tactics despite the lock Trump has on right-wing media.
The anti-democratic coalition that formed around Trump to get him in the White House all made a calculation—that he would do what they want. Now they are finding out one by one, that Donald Trump is a backstabbing crook. As
said a long time ago, Everything Trump Touches Dies.Elon Musk, whose purchase of Twitter and massive infusion of cash got Trump in the White House, was humiliated and rejected. And despite Trump’s obsequious behavior toward Putin, Trump is supporting a massive attack on Putin’s close ally Iran.
Looming over this is Trump’s clear mental and physical decline. As I write this, B2 Stealth bombers are headed toward the Middle East with bunker buster bombs which Trump is threatening to destroy Iran’s most important nuclear research facility Fordow with “in two weeks.”
Trump is a cornered, wounded animal who has isolated himself from even his own compromised lieutenants, his “Big Beautiful Bill” is floundering, his domestic crackdown is backfiring, and his foreign policy is threatening to start WWIII.
The revolt may start within MAGA itself. As Trump deteriorates, I wouldn’t be surprised with some sort of coup to replace him with JD Vance. American propagandists dedicated to Russian narratives are actively promoting Vance as president.
Americans should be ready for this moment, because it should not be a sigh of relief for anyone. As Peter Thiel’s proxy, Vance will be worse than Trump, more focused on ending democracy and implementing ethnic cleansing, and less on grandiosity and show business.
However, it will also be a moment of weakness, proof that the regime was a farce all along. Americans should be ready to say that we’ve had enough of their chaos and abuse. We don’t need another childish dictator. It’s time for grown ups to take control of America.
It would, I believe, be a great time for a Second American Revolution.

Jim, you are absolutely correct. It needs to be done now because once Thiel takes over we are in even deeper shit—like being in quicksand. We need a CentCom. Being scattered uprisings won’t do it. Do we have one? Can we get one? Thanks for the horrible list. One or two at a time is bad enough. Altogether it’s mind blowing. These idiots, apart from being Nazis, commies and greedy bastards, are all bullies. Do bullies understand other bullies? They expected Trump to be grateful and to follow the playbook. Being the kind of quite stupid, street smart bully he is, they should have known he wouldn’t. So what now?
