Our task is to recognize the force of ego and it's destructive power in society and deconstruct it and to replace it with the constructive power of compassion and cooperation. MLK, Jr. and JFK brought this message forward in the 60s. We owe it to them to remember their words and amplify their political and spiritual wisdom in the present and in the future. Documentary "Eyes on the Prize" shows Civil Rights Movement under King was not reactionary. He was articulating and elucidating a spiritual framework for a civil society. There were specific goals and objectives for the movement. Reactions and sign-making are not enough. Waiting for crowd sizes to grow is simply an admission of a failure of political imagination and an inability to outline a new vision. The Constitution, though antiquated and in need of modern revision, still provides a framework for unity. If we are to rally around something, could it not be this? So somebody should set up a 24-hour watch cam. I had not thought of it in the way you had, that he was trying to erase women and the public. That's fascinating and probably spot on. I have assumed he wants a better bunker. All the dictators have cool bunkers! He complained first term how inadequate it was when he pretended he hadn't really gone down there in an emergency.
