Thanks for writing this. It’s strange. We notice slight differences in the people we know & love but don’t quite understand what’s going on. Like it’s not normal to randomly insert ‘immigration’ into conversations or to text a black emoji 👍🏾 bc you think it’s funny when you’re a 58yo white guy 🤦♀️ I definitely thought I was going crazy, wanting to shake sense into ppl😑 having to be the mask police at work 😷 blahblah. Thankful to you & others that have helped us understand just what we’re witnessing here. ❤️🩹
Excellent post. No time for despair. Marathon, not a sprint. We are in this together. You are doing right by your kids and future grandkids and all of ours. In this for the long haul. No time to give into fear. We will fight, we will win, and our country will be stronger for it. A democratic renewal. You are tough. Thanks again for all you are doing.

I feel everything you've written here. Thank you for the validation and encouragement! I'm making the necessary adjustments to survive this. If this is the new reality, so be it. I'm here for it. I'm up to the challenge. I'm making plans to educate in a new way to create greater numbers of democracy loving citizens. There have been losses already, and will likely be more, but I won't dwell on that, but rather focus on the future. We CAN do this together. 🇺🇸
