Iran Is Programming the President

When I started this Substack in January 2022, I wanted to focus on the “psychological war on democracy” because I believe it is the most underreported aspect of America’s precipitous collapse. The population has been suffering a full-scale psychological attack for at least a decade.
However, as Trump was resurrected by a handful of billionaires and foreign governments for the 2024 election, his individual behavior and obvious psychopathologies became just as critical to understand. As I’ve repeatedly warned, Trump’s combination of malignant narcissism and frontal lobe dysfunction makes him extremely gullible and subject to manipulation.
Now acclaimed journalist Jeremy Scahill reports that Iran has brought on a “team of senior psychologists” to “work up a profile” on Trump because he is a “mentally incapacitated individual” that Iran is “dealing with like a patient.”
Scahill says after they did a psychological profile on Trump “they made some progress in the negotiations.”
What Scahill is describing is a foreign power programming the president of the United States by exploiting his mental illness. It is nearly impossible to imagine a more critical national security emergency.
If the Iranian government can exploit this, so can anyone else.
Nevertheless Trump and his regime have been focused on everything but the war in Iran, or skyrocketing inflation. Instead Trump spent months obsessing over his “renovation” of DC, including the Reflecting Pool—or as Trump calls it the “Reflecting Lake” or the “Reflecting Pond.”
But rather than bring in engineers, he brought in his personal pool guy. The result is that within a week the Reflecting Pool is a swamp, filled with algae because the “American Flag blue” Trump chose holds too much heat, allowing the algae to bloom.
Trump’s big birthday party for himself started Saturday with motocross on the White House lawn, complete with military Honor Guard—a vile abuse of our troops.
Saturday night there was a weigh-in at the Lincoln Memorial for Trump’s UFC fight. One of the fighters was so drunk he vomited on himself—which was gleefully pointed out by Russian state propaganda.
This obliteration of American competence, dignity, and values is a perfect mirror of what is happening to Trump’s mind. It is one man’s psychological disorders amplified by the biggest bullhorn in the world—the U.S. government.
We are losing the psychological war on democracy because we have failed to fight it, or even acknowledge it. Until that changes, we will keep racing to the bottom.
