I was hooked on Mensch after Trump’s 2016 win - she seemed to have insider info and we were all so desperate for answers. It was clear to me she was not legit only after she so badly mangled the bit about the recording of Republicans members of Congress and her bullshit about sealed indictments was phony. It was probably into 2018 she poisoned my thinking.
The flip side good news is with so many years since 2016, there is solid history of behavior now. We can have confidence in the shittiness of Mensch but also the earnestness and decency of several voices that have not acted in this way, consistently.
Some of my favorite personalities that have stood up since 2016 as genuine truth seekers:

Tom Nichols (never Trump conservative now writing for The Atlantic)
Garry Kasparov former chess Champ and Russian opposition leader and now heads Renew Democracy
Scot Stedman independent reporter and his Forensic News
Preet Bhrara former US Attorney, decent law man
Bill Browder - Investor and activist, responsible for Magnitsky Sanctions and advocacy
David Corn - his excellent investigative reporting and work with Mother Jones
And my newest add for sure is Jim, thank you so much for all you do exposing this clown show.
