It does seem odd that in spite of Miller having apparently zero original thoughts, that people have still been so slow to get him this last decade plus. Most of the people around Trump are not stupid, they are just not original by any stretch. The one area on which I agree with the tech assholes is that our education system was a total failure.

I wonder what Miller's parents think of his speech and general trajectory; I remember his uncle and a cousin making statements, but don't remember his parents or brother doing so. It is a bit unusual to hold some views so adamently at a young age when growing up in certain areas of California. I wonder if his parents ran in similar circles to Horowitz and therefore didn't find that adult influence in their son's life to be a concern.
Yeah, the same thoughts crossed my mind too. I don't ever recall hearing anything about or from his parents. The fact that they've seemingly remained silent despite seeing what a monster their son grew up to be, likely indicates that your assumptions are probably correct.
