SITREP: SNAFU — Why It Matters If You Show Up

We’ve seen worse. Find a No Kings protest.

Situation Report (SITREP): Situation Normal, All Fucked Up (SNAFU).

The United States of America has seen far better days, but it has also seen worse. While I have very little hope for an orderly solution to this dire situation, I think what we do tomorrow on a national day of protest really matters in terms of what our future options look like.

Yesterday, we saw the regime cross another red line when one of my Senators, Alex Padilla (D-CA), was briefly kidnapped in front of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, tackled, and handcuffed because he asked her a question.

Noem, at the same press conference, openly threatened to use the power of the federal government to “liberate” my city, Los Angeles, from the people we elected. Like so many others in this regime, she is just a very embarrassing actress playing a part someone else is writing for her. It’s all theater, but the impact of her compliance and incompetence is very real.

“We are not going away,” she warned. “We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city.”

California Governor Gavin Newsom, who I have come to appreciate more and more as this situation unfolds, sued Donald Trump to regain control of the California National Guard. The judge granted his request, but an appeals court stayed that court’s ruling temporarily. The gist is that LA still has 5,000 armed troops deployed for no legal reason and we wait for a hearing until Tuesday.

This means that we have a chance, as Americans, to show that we do not need, nor want, to be an occupied nation, not just to these appellate judges but to the Gilead-enjoyers on the Supreme Court who will ultimately decide.

While Donald Trump, Stephen Miller and the regime tighten their grip on the American population, there are also massive tectonic shifts happening around the world, including Israel launching a decapitation strike on the Iranian military leadership and nuclear program Thursday, and a large Iranian missile barrage on Tel Aviv in response.

Bibi Netanyahu and Mossad asserted that the strike was necessary because of the danger being posed by the near-term potential of a nuke, but the only reason Iran has a nuclear program is that Donald Trump ripped up the JCPOA in 2018, because Netanyahu ran a propaganda operation to convince Trump to kill it.

Netanyahu knew the 10/7 attacks were coming and intentionally allowed them to happen, according to both US and Egyptian intelligence services. Bibi needs war, he wants war, and he will do anything to keep a war going. That’s the only way he stays out of prison.

Seven years after he killed the JCPOA, just as Trump was supposedly sending people to meet with the Iranians on Sunday for negotiations, Netanyahu ensured there would not be any nuclear agreement again by telling the world that US intelligence knew all about the attack and gave it a “green light”—creating a potential “massive schism” in MAGA. Putin says he wants to be “mediator” when he has actually been on both sides of the conflict for many years.

Let me be clear, a “schism” in MAGA is exactly what we want. We need to show the people pulling our strings, planning to attack our communities, and occupying America with armed forces that we have a vote in this scenario. We need to be a destabilizing force to the regime, by showing in massive numbers that their unilateral plan to take away our freedom is not going to be so easy.

We need to ruin Donald Trump’s birthday party, peacefully, but massively.

If you’re unaware, tomorrow, Saturday June 14th, is No Kings Day, and there are 2,000+ protests everywhere in the US, and some in Europe. If you are able, please find a location nearby and use your voice. It really matters, especially right now.

All of the chaos that Trump and this regime are creating is designed to demoralize, exhaust and oppress us. We have a choice, however, about whether we submit to their psychological abuse. I know mine.

If and when you protest, know your rights if you come in contact with authorities. And keep your head on a swivel. There will be people there to create conflict.

Long live a free America. I will see you on the streets.
