For all the Cardinals who came together and elevated a pope with roots in the United States is quite a statement at this time for our country and I believe a very positive omen for 1 billion people in the world. Personally, it’s some of the best news I’ve gotten in months. Pope Leo is not afraid to speak out politically and not afraid of the man in the White House. We’ll take his prayers and it’s all good news.

Kash Patel is insufferable. He’s a whiny “I know you are but what am I?” clown.

This new Pope, would not get rid of a child molesting priest as a Bishop Cardinal,Robert Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, has not fully endorsed or opposed a document that would bless same-sex unions in the church, but he has been critical of Western news media for cultivating "sympathy" at odds with the gospel, including "alternative families comprised of same-sex partners and their adopted children". While he may foster a more welcoming environment, he has not signaled any openness to changing Church teaching on same-sex marriage or the ordination of women.

That's probably the best you can expect from an a patriarchal, misogynist institution that is 1600 years old.

Priests could get married , until the church realized that their thieving clergy were leaving wealth to their wives and heirs, then they decreed priests couldn't marry, that didn't stop Popes from having mistrresses and illegitmate children, like the Borgia/s and Medici's Pope Leo X, whose personal name was Giovanni de' Medici, did have children, although some of them were possibly illegitimate. He had a legitimate son, Giuliano de' Medici, who became the Duke of Nemours, and a probable illegitimate son, Alessandro de' Medici, who was the last of the direct male line of the Medici family. Another son, Gian Gastone de' Medici, was the last Grand Duke of Tuscany.

Perhaps Prevost took the name of Leo XIV.

There is significance in the names they choose.

Leo the Great, persecuted Manicheans and non Christians, gleefully throwing them to the lions.

Leo "The great" was Pope when Valentian III was Emperor, Valention had the General Flavius Aetius murdered out of jealousy, Aetius is the general that stopped Attilla at the battle of the Catalauinan fields,

The last great general, his death left a vacuum, and there is little resistance to Geoseric when the Vandal over ran the western Roman Empire.

Leo III, was an obscure Roman Bishop that Charlemagne dragged out of ignominy, installed him as Pope, so he could crown Charlemagne as Emperor, and thus ruled by the authority of their god.

Charlemagne had at least four wives and innumerable concubines. While it's impossible to give an exact percentage of Charlemagne's DNA in Europe today, it's widely believed that a significant portion of European DNA is linked to him, with some estimates suggesting that most, if not all, Europeans are descended from his lineage. This isn't necessarily a matter of direct DNA inheritance, but rather a shared ancestry within a relatively short time frame. (source google AI)

It has to be quite large, as 1 in 6 Russians carry the DNA of Jenghis Khan, and most obviously Putin and his subordinates, especially the military leadership

Pope Francis didn’t take any BS from Trump and the first American Pope in 2000 years, Pope Leo, isn’t going to take any bullshit from Trump either! 🕊️

100% - Pope Francis was a very smart man, who named now Pope Leo XIV, Prefect of the Dicastery of Bishops, in charge of vetting all Bishop nominations. This is how all the voting Bishops got to know Pope Leo XIV. In death, Pope Francis is still leaving us gifts.

His whole point is that it has gotten unusable and that it’s tragic. You may have a different point of view about what it was like 15 years ago, but he was speaking from personal experience and he had statistics to back it up.

Regardless, no one was lying.
