I think on your graphic it's not helpful to refer to AI output as "slop." Some output might be of low value, but a lot of people are getting a lot of value out of their AI subscriptions.

It's a separate issue whether or not Sam Altman is a bad guy or friends with Peter Thiel.

It’s deliberate. I’m not going to gloss over that every token, every idea, and every image is distilled from the labor and creativity of humans. As I have repeatedly said, these simulations can be quite useful. I use them myself. But I refuse to let people think this is intelligence, or let this industry destroy the economy, without doing my best to warn people.

Also, it’s really not that separate of an issue if Sam Altman and Peter Thiel are literally in bed together. Thiel is openly evil. You have to look at this in the context of how it was created to see what it is.
