The Great Finding Out
Alternate realities can only last so long
Perhaps it’s just my perspective, but there seems to be a significant pullback across anti-democracy forces around the world. You might say a coordinated retreat as the reality of the midterms has been revealed. However, we should not accept the terms of their surrender.
It’s almost as if there has been so much Fucking Around for so many years, there was a backlog of Finding Out that needed to happen in order to keep nature in balance.
First, Elmo’s Folly of spending $44 billion to own the libs and defend Putin simply exposed Twitter for what it always was, a psychological operation controlled by bad actors. Elmo is just doing in the open what they were always doing behind the scenes — shaping the narrative to suit themselves.
In many ways, I’m sorry to see Twitter go. I’m sorry to lose a year and half of work and 60,000 followers to a petulant 4chan troll with infinite money. But frankly, for the most part, my feeling is: good riddance. “Social media” is a misnomer. Facebook and Twitter are radicalization engines and always were.
The rapid and largely civilized exodus to Mastodon and other alternatives, the immediate drying up of Twitter’s advertiser money, and Elmo’s criminal mismanagement is a whole lot of Finding Out that’s going to take his “investment” to $0. #EvacuateTwitter

Second, the cryptocurrency bubble collapsing has raised the financial Finding Out to a new level. Two days ago the hobbit next to Tom Brady below, Sam Bankman-Fried, was worth $16 billion as CEO of “crypto exchange” FTX.
Today, he owes billions and the CEO of FTX is the guy who liquidated Enron.
Bitcoin, which is the original “crypto,” is down 75% in the last year and falling fast.
Why? Because it’s a worthless gambling market designed by the PayPal Mafia to be manipulated to make them rich — before it inevitably bubbles and explodes.
But FTX and Bitcoin are just two small parts of a vast interlocking ocean of financial garbage and fraud, including “Bored Ape Yacht Club” which sold billions of dollars of racist GIFs as “NFTs” to suckers around the world.
This entire cult of blockchain / decentralized / web3 / NFT / crypto bullshit is Finding Out and I couldn’t be happier about it.
Third, the humiliation of Vladimir Putin from his precipitous skedaddle from Kherson is a master class in Finding Out.
Putin’s own propagandist, genocidal Nazi Aleksandr Dugin threatened Putin with exile and death for his failure to hold territory Putin had claimed as Russia just a week before.
This outburst was before Putin appears to have offered to show Dugin the 3rd floor windows at the Kremlin. Now Dugin has completely changed his tune. In other words, Dugin also Found Out.
“But to be sure: no one has turned their back on Putin”
“We are loyal to Putin […] and Russia to the end……”
Finally, the neo-Nazi Kremlin psychological war machine is Finding Out as well. QAnon and associated cults are despondent and confused.
The logical pretzels they twist to remain in their alternate reality are now at the breaking point.
Putin’s General Mike Flynn seems to have lost his mojo as well.
A flood of fascist tears — The Great Finding Out.
However, and I’m sorry to repeat myself, it is very important to remember:
Fascism does not stop on its own. It must be defeated.
Keep Your Foot On the Gas
Thanks to all of your hard work, dear reader, we’ve given freedom and democracy an opportunity — a shot. Exposing their plans has made it much, much harder for them to operate.
However, we cannot squander this opportunity with squabbling and infighting. We have a job to do, which is to finish off this fascist insurgency once and for all and give our kids and grandkids another generation in a free country.
To do this, we must have accountability for the people who brought us to this point — the people who still want us to live in their autocracy. Without accountability, there is no Rule of Law, and without Rule of Law there is literally no point to any of this.
Enough of the psyops. And the Russians. And the fraud. It’s time to stamp it all into dust.
We do not forgive. We do not forget.
