Erik Prince converted to Catholicism when he nearly literally married the girl next door, a girl from my neighborhood, some of whose older brothers and sisters I was acquainted with. I heard some time after the fact that she had died of cancer and had my mind blown when I saw in her on-line obituary that she was married to Erik Prince. The family were conservative Catholics and the father a local Republican politician. I believe Prince converted for her. I won't go into any of the sordid details of their marriage, but you can look them up.
November 8 is soon to be here. And with that will be the midterm elections. We have a chance to win more seats for Democrats, particularly in the Senate. By my most optimistic reasoning, we could have 60 Democrats and/or independents caucusing with Democrats elected. Here is who is running against Republicans in seats currently held by Republicans that can flip seats. Provided each Democratic Senator running for reelection gets reelected, here is who is needed to win.
Val Demings, Florida. Running against Sen. Marco Rubio.
Mandela Barnes, Wisconsin. Running against Sen. Ron Johnson.
Tim Ryan, Ohio. Running against J.D. Vance.
John Fetterman, Pennsylvania. Running against Dr. Mehmet Oz.
Cheri Beasley, North Carolina. Running against Ted Budd.
Michael Franken, Iowa. Running against Sen. Chuck Grassley.
Charles Booker, Kentucky. Running against Sen. Rand Paul.
Trudy Busch Valentine, Missouri. Running against Eric Schmitt.
Evan McMullin, Independent from Utah. Running against Sen. Mike Lee.
Kendra Horn, Oklahoma. Running against Markwayne Mullin.
We get these 10 elected, and all of them now in the Senate as Democrats reelected, we get a supermajority. Let us do this.
Erik Prince is a jackass. A complete goober. Michigan goober. What I found interesting about this post is that those are the photos of gamergate that I remember seeing. I thought I had read an article in Wired Magazine with those exact photographs of the incels and Fred. Is that Matt Donovan standing next to Fred's left? None of them look like they could handle much vodka. Did they steal that bottle from their parents liquor cabinet? So these bois were mad because they were afraid of girls? Seriously? And they got abusive to the girls who were good at gaming and kicking their asses? And then they ratcheted up the abuse of said girls with doxing and rape "jokes". Man, if my brothers had found out they had done that to me? Or my Dad? My Dad and Bro's wouldn't have gotten violent, my family wasn't violent...at all.
