“The West Is Dead”
Aleksandr Dugin: You can have Greenland and Canada but “Ukraine is ours. Period.”
Aleksandr Dugin is widely, and wildly, misunderstood as a weird Russian philosopher vaguely influencing Putin. In fact, it is Dugin’s vision that is currently asserting itself as a contender to replace the entire post-WWII democratic world order.
Yesterday, Dugin published an article called “The West Is Dead: Russia and America Redraw the World Map” in which he describes the recent conversation between Putin and Trump as “defining new parameters for the world order.”
Dugin is describing his geopolitical framework of “multipolarity” which decries “globalism” and seeks to return the world to “poles” of influence — which happens to include a New Russian Empire stretching across Eastern Europe aka “Eurasianism.”
The Plan to Carve Up the World Is Under Way
Dugin believes that his vision is coming true:
“the collective West as an entity simply no longer exists. Instead, there are now the United States — Great America… Europe must be brought in line with the broader multipolar model to which both Trump and Putin agree. As do Xi Jinping, the great ruler of Great China, and Modi, the great ruler of Great India. Therefore, Europe must either become great, or it will cease to exist altogether, and we will forget about it.”
However, while he sees “the foreseeable future of the modern world is an alliance between Putin’s Russia and Trump’s America,” Dugin insists “before that happens, the most critical contentious issue must be resolved — the question of Ukraine.”
Dugin is very clear on Russia’s demands:
“Ukraine Is Ours. Period.”
The embarrassing American National Socialist parade currently traveling Europe including JD Vance, Pete Hegseth and Jack Posobiec on the “negotiating team” for the United States, is pure theater, kayfabe. They have every intention of complying with Dugin’s — and Putin’s — demands. There will never be a “peace deal” except to give Putin time to gear up for his invasion of Europe.
Of course, the carrot that Putin is dangling in front of the Musk-Trump regime for their appeasement of Putin’s imperialist ambitions is a North American Reich from Greenland to Panama.
Dugin is very explicit about this transaction, and throws in Western Europe as a bonus:
“Ukraine must belong to us and no one else. Not to Europe and not to America. At the same time, it is entirely conceivable that Canada will become the 51st state of the U.S. — we have no objections. Or that Greenland will become American — we have no objections. And even if Western Europe becomes American, we probably won’t object too much either.“
The American media and as a result, the general public, have absolutely no clue that this is happening, despite the fact that Dugin’s ideas have been infecting the American right for two decades. The list of American Nazis influenced by Dugin is a who’s who of the treasonous insurgency — Mike Flynn, Richard Spencer, Steve Bannon, Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, etc. They have all bought into the idea that “globalism” is the enemy, that Putin is an ally, and that Ukraine is rightfully Russia. As always, the accusation of a “New World Order” is projection.
Here’s a map of the world derived from George Orwell’s fictional novel 1984 — which is shaping up to be far more of a premonition than he hoped.
Maya Angelou’s quote is a cliché for a reason, but I will add a twist of my own.
When they tell you who they are, defeat them.

Jim, I just watched Malcom Nance's great rant from today (technologically challenged otherwise I'd do that link thing-but everyone can find it) --he quotes the line from Saving Private Ryan where the soldiers all say to each other, See you on the beach, because they know they're all fighting hard for freedom and the final fight will be there on the beach. Then I read yours. Malcolm Nance is SCREAMING for us to see the fight and fight the fight. That if we have to lose our precious, precious democracy, we should to go down without a fight. This is war. So like in wartime, there's not time to waste being polite (I could write a book about how brilliant you, Jim, are, how generous with your knowledge--but the time is short. See you on the beach.
We in Canada know what is going on. We aren’t stupid.
