The United States is the western front of Putin’s war on Ukraine

I was honored to be able to attend the Los Angeles Premiere of “The Eastern Front,” a harrowing, infuriating and deeply moving documentary about Putin’s war crimes and the Ukrainian people’s refusal to back down.

I urge everyone to not only support this film, Byline Times who produced it, and the courageous journalists who shot it, but share it with as many people as possible, especially anyone with doubts, or simply ignorance, about the depth of evil happening in Ukraine.

John Sweeney, Zabrina Zabrisky and the others who risked their lives in the most dangerous parts of unoccupied Ukraine, have brought ironclad proof of Putin’s crimes against humanity — including the use of torture chambers and banned incendiary weapons that has no military purpose other than to terrorize.

It is important to understand that the disinformation and propaganda operations that I report on in the United States are designed, in part, to diminish our motivation and ability to support Ukraine’s defense. To combat these lies, it is critical that the extent and viciousness of Putin’s atrocities are widely known.

We cannot allow this genocide to be whitewashed.

There is no comparison to the hell on earth the people of Ukraine are being subjected to, especially on the eastern front, but the United States must ensure Ukraine’s defense with money and weapons, and its admission to NATO. If the western front of Ukraine’s support falters, the bravery of the Ukrainian people through this assault will be in vain.
