Trump’s Budget Transforms ICE Into the Gestapo
ICE will become the largest police force in America
The “Big Beautiful Bill” currently mired in a Senate “vote-a-rama” contains a section devoted to exploding the budget for ICE. Trump wants $75 billion in additional funding for ICE that will transform it into the largest law enforcement force in America, and ensure the United States marches towards a second Holocaust.
In four years, the Trump regime intends to house 200,000 human beings in concentration camps, a number that the Third Reich didn’t achieve until 1943.
The goal of the regime is to deport a million people a year, which is, even with these budget numbers, impossible. Regardless, they intend to hire 10,000 more masked, anonymous thugs to terrorize entire cities, kidnap people off the street, and send them to black sites.
In Los Angeles, where I live, ICE has destroyed entire communities, driven entire populations underground, and made life a dystopian horror film for anyone who isn’t white. This is coming to every community in America. But they will not stop with immigrants.
‘Completely Disrupted’: Fear Upends Life for Latinos in L.A.
Some carry passports to travel to the corner store. Others do not venture out at all, too afraid of the consequences. Bus ridership has dropped. So has business at taco trucks and fruit stands.
Fear and anxiety have gripped Latinos in Los Angeles to an extraordinary degree, upending the lives of thousands of residents. Increased immigration raids and patrols by masked officers have stifled one of the largest and most established Latino communities in America, causing what residents and officials describe as a Covid-style shutdown of public events, street life and commerce.
It has affected not only undocumented immigrants and mixed-status families but also many U.S. citizens who have lived in California for decades and who say that they are fearful of being swept up in the raids. Interviews with more than two dozen Latino residents, elected officials and community leaders in the Los Angeles area revealed the cultural, financial and psychological toll the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown is having on a county where nearly half of the population traces their ancestry to Mexico and other parts of Latin America.
This program has nothing to do with immigration, or crime, or any of the other excuses the regime is promoting as psychological warfare. It is about white replacement. They are planning to ethnically cleanse America with a massive violent paramilitary being paid for with cuts to Medicaid and food stamps. And it’s about control over the population. With a national gestapo you could discourage targeted communities from, for example, voting.
As Trump appears to be trying to engage the United States in armed conflict around the world, and continues to make aggressive moves towards our neighbors in North America, it’s important to recall that the mass killing in Nazi concentration camps mostly occurred under the fog of war. The Trump regime is murdering hundreds of thousands of children in Africa by forcing their food to rot away in storage. What makes anyone think they won’t do the same, or worse, in America?
Trump has totally lost his mooring in reality. He is in a messianic state where he believes he is above the law completely, and every dark impulse has become real.
To make matters so much worse, the Supreme Court validated his unconstitutional, depraved behavior and took away one of the only legal ways to fight back against it, while Republicans are wrangling with the Senate parliamentarian about how to kick 16 million Americans off health insurance to pay for it.
I encourage everyone to use your voice, however big or small, to raise awareness about what’s happening here and what the ramifications truly are. However, I am not hopeful that this will change. Assuming the Trump Gestapo becomes our reality, we will have to face it, head on. We The People will be forced to organize, as we have done before, to defeat a tyrannical government.

I posted this on Joyce Vance's substack yesterday re Justice Barrett's insane opinion on universal injunctions. It bears repeating here:
“Because the universal injunction lacks a historical pedigree, it falls outside the bounds of a federal court’s equitable authority under the Judiciary Act.”
The whole goddam Constitution lacked a historical pedigree when it was written! It is a living document, amended and clarified on a daily basis. There are no words to describe the danger we are in. Only the Supreme Court can rule against the Executive. And if the Court and the Executive are a team, then tyranny is the result. This is EXACTLY what Hitler achieved.
It’s Eugenics just like the deeply flawed Covid response was eugenics. Covid killed people of color, men and the elderly in larger numbers than other groups.
Medicaid cuts will disproportionately affect the elderly, disabled, and Trump’s “usual targets”.
