Bernie Sanders needs to go on record and apologize for the lack of vetting and allowing her to be a “surrogate” of his 2016 campaign. I watched in real time, knowing her anti- LGBTQ history in Hawaii for years, her nationalism, love for Modi, and that Steve Bannon loved her, and still does. In fact, he opened his show today, celebrating that she’s leaving the democratic party.
I just went to the Sanders Institute website and see that Tulsi is still listed as a fellow on their website. Reporters need to ask Bernie under no uncertain terms if he disavows her bullshit.
There was an entire “demexit” movement around the 2016 Bernie campaign that still exist today. He wouldn’t drop out when it was mathematically impossible that he could win the Democratic Party nomination. Tulsi’s vanity 2020 presidential campaign was just absolute bullshit. So again, I pray that reporters ask Bernie if he disavows her and admits that he made a mistake having her anywhere near his campaign.
