So this guy Steven Jarvis decided to investigate harmful troll KassandraSeven and her associated network of abusive sidekicks and wrote a number of Medium pieces about it. I’d never heard of him but I made his acquaintance on LinkedIn the last few weeks when he contacted me with some questions.
And wouldn’t you know, Mr. Steven Jarvis, who was polite at all times and broke no rules that I could see, just got suspended for… “platform manipulation and spam.” 🤷♂️
This literally makes no sense at all.
Here’s Steven’s response. He is confident that he will be reinstated, as he obviously should. But something is not right at Twitter.
I am now aware of a few dozen accounts that this has happened to. One of a few scenarios is true:
Twitter Safety is just an incompetent dumpster fire and bad actors can get people suspended and banned by just reporting bullshit often enough.
Someone has access to Twitter tools who shouldn’t. If you recall someone got access to the support “console” and did a bitcoin scam with it that included Barack Obama’s account.
Twitter’s executives, or at least certain higher ups at Twitter Safety, are compromised. This would not be surprising, considering the guy who got @jack replaced is a Republican mega-donor who also funds the Manhattan Institute — who I have not spoken kindly of, for good reason.
Regardless, something is wrong at Twitter. Let’s take a look at Hoaxy and Steven Jarvis’ handle:
And looky there. The precise group of dangerous trolls still attacking me after they got me suspended. The thick arrows going to Twitter Safety are the actual “platform manipulation” here.
This was an intentional operation to deplatform someone who was exercising his rights and breaking no rules. By allowing it to happen, either Twitter is incompetent, compromised or evil. They need to pick a lane so we can all move on. This is ridiculous.
PS What about this actual automated account that compares me to neo-nazis?
UPDATE:
Like clockwork, another follower who shared positive information about me gets suspended. Someone has a button that should not have it. This is serious. Twitter needs to answer.
UPDATE 2:
I’m starting to think this guy has the button:
Do you remember what Alex Alvarova said? She talked about this quiet moment when the trolls become silent, waiting for new instructions. I think they got them. I came across this tweet from a few days ago (anonymous account that really likes Jan, links to q origins project @ FantasticGvnFox). It was addressed to Steven Jarvis (and to… us): “Twitter is the proper final arbiter of who and what is allowed on Twitter, so if Twitter bans an account, it is an authentic ban regardless of whether the users agree. They don't even *need* a reason.” — fucking dystopian. I wonder if Twitter agrees with that statement. It’s not great PR.
An operation like this costs serious money. It looks like a ‘clean the narrative’ ops by the Chrysto-Fascists. So it smells like Thiel. He has already made Facebook a Fascist alter life by altering the algorithms. So now Twitter is next.
