America is an out-of control failed state with a desperate, demented wannabe dictator who is getting the United States into a war even his base doesn’t want—all because his approval ratings are plummeting and he’s angry at the entire world. He has now fully committed American lives to Bibi’s war while openly abusing his power to make show arrests of his enemies.
His wheels have fallen off and we are all in the car.
A seemingly random story about a threat to Trump in the NY Post is a very ugly sign of things to come. This is clearly illegal active measures by the FBI against American citizens. It will lead to persecution of innocent people. This is the American Stasi ramping up.
Trump’s FBI Director Kash Patel is a political terrorist who, and apologies if I’m repeating myself, sued a blogger for calling him a “chud.” A few days ago, he sued MSNBC analyst, former FBI agent Frank Figluzzi.
The arrest and prosecution of a random social media troll by the FBI is a blatant step towards providing red meat to Trump’s QAnon and MAGA cult members who are thirsty for arrests. They will use this person’s “8647” Bluesky tweets to build a case that Comey incited terrorist threats against the president with his seashells post. They want to see Comey in prison so Patel found a way to justify it.

The second part of the indictment being highlighted is more worrisome. “Antifa” is a phantom organization completely invented by the alt-right as a way to justify their own violence. It is a meme, not a communist insurgency. However, starting in his first administration, Trump has consistently validated “Antifa” as the left’s equivalent of Al Qaeda. Kash Patel is going to use it to arrest people on suspicion of terrorism.
On a personal note, it’s hard not to feel worried about this because while I don’t identify as “Antifa” because that’s just a meme, I do identify with being “antifascist”—you know, like the guys who beat the Nazis. There are also 5,000 armed troops just down the road, occupying my city. So, it’s hard not to be paranoid in this scenario, which, as I’ve learned, is exactly the point.
We’re going to need a general strike and massive, continuous protests. The Mad King is going to get madder still. That’s the only thing we know.
