What I must give you is a glossary of counteracts and responses to certain stock words and phrases the conservative and traditionalist Catholics (one in the same) will use.
If someone calls you a socialist or communist, retort back that those ideals have never been tried in America. Perhaps if they were, those complaining would think differently.
When someone says something like that old chestnut “that tells you all you need to know,” ask back “what of your ideas?” Essentially, give them greater knowledge than the wave of a hand gesture those words above are part of.
When someone asks a question which they think is relevant and they have an answer to, answer that question. For example, if someone says, “don’t you find that interesting?,” you can respond with a simple answer such as no.
Any complaint from a Republican figure who goes after someone with a personal flaw should be clapped back with a similar and more direct complaint of personal issues against the Republican. These people want to play the dozens? Well, they are going to get the dozens, and then some.
Anytime these people do their standard word salad on the “Founding Fathers” and such matters, counter them with the historical record. It may take a while, but they will shut up.
When these GQP people show their passive aggressive racism, call them out on their bull. One way to do that is to indeed teach Critical Race Theory to people as young as birth. Then say, what are you going to do about it, retrogrades?
When they tell you to do your research, ask them “so only the research you approve?”
These people will speak of the “people” as if they are a monolith. In those times, it is best to say that the “people” refuse to be leaders, so we must step up to leadership.
Subsequently, we need to stop coddling the uneducated masses. Indeed, it is best to tell them the truth that they the “people” are full of shit.
When Republicans complain about the elites, you need to publicly defend the elites. We need to remember; the elites are the elites for a damn good reason.
Call their bluffs and their bull, every damn time. They expect you to be a coward, yet the fatal flaw these Flynn acolytes have is brute force. I am reminded of an old saying: it takes 18 years to make a child become a citizen, yet only 6 weeks (about 1 and a half months) to turn a child into a brute.

Finally, when these people demand justice for their perceived saviors; call back on their fakery by demanding real justice and exoneration for those who have been wrongfully incarcerated like Mumia Abu-Jamal and Leonard Peltier. Yes, I went there.
One other thing: the concept of an America we were indoctrinated with in childhood never was, and honestly never could be. That America, if it ever did exist, is not here. I am sure that in my lifetime, the USA will go through the same fate as did former Yugoslavia. When you build a country and its people on a lie (and its parent, racism), the results when knowledge is given is not pretty. We are no different than any other country which was built on a house of cards, only given legitimacy by saying it is a religious nation. That era is gone. The new era of technology, technocracy, and ideas which will benefit all will happen. Because it must.
