They have been attacked by Glenn Greenwald for allegedly creating fake Russian accounts for an election manipulation op in Alabama in '18. https://theintercept.com/2019/02/03/nbc-news-to-claim-russia-supports-tulsi-gabbard-relies-on-firm-just-caught-fabricating-russia-data-for-the-democratic-party/ This is roundly denied by Yonder AI CEO who admits to only a very small research op there designed to test the affect of MSM stories in certain communities. https://medium.com/@jonathonmorgan/social-media-and-the-alabama-special-election-c83350324529 Greenwald cites a NY Times article in support of his assertions, but it's behind a paywall, so I can't access it to see how much it supports Greenwald's claim. He seems to be making them out as DNC tools aiding in the effort to smear Gabbard and Stein and others as Russian assets. https://twitter.com/ggreenwald/status/1092208489735307265 This all looks like a big old can of worms.
