A nice dream. I too see J6 & DOJ creating a type of sandwich to the massive amount of criminal investigations. J6 Committee was a very smart plan as they have gathered massive amounts of evidence on the higher up while the DOJ has prosecuted the foot soldiers and several have flipped on their “generals”. Like a sandwich, place the two halves together, then condiments (the DOJ analysis of evidence for prosecution), then a whole lot of early morning arrests….prior too passports are frozen of course. I am very hopeful to see arrests this summer. I see that move as our last chance for a Democracy. If we survive, it will take years to clean up local, state & federal governments of all the bad actors, but we can do it. My biggest concern….even though there was a big watch group of the first J6 Committee Presentation. It was only 19 million! We have hundreds of million in this country. And most do not follow politics! They take Democracy for granted. They are clueless that Democracy is fragile. My big concern is voting turnout for midterms. Midterms generally have a low turnout & too many Americans are clueless to what is happening while others have been brainwashed into a cult. That brings my biggest concern…gerrymandering & the Trump State Secretaries ready to provide electors supporting fascism rather than the will of the people. I too have a glimmer of hope. My brain is having difficulty imagining life in a dictatorship with these Q violent quacks running the show.
I've been experimenting with that very thought for some time. I have to have confidence there are people in charge much smarter than Trump and company; otherwise, we're doomed.
I believe the Dems will hold both the House and Senate expanding majorities increasing a few seats held in both. Hoping for a 55 Seat majority in the Senate and the removal of the racist and non-Constitutionally formed filibuster.
If the House falls, Biden will be continuously impeached, so as to minimize the shame of Trump's undermining US policy blackmailing and attempted bribery of Ukraine facing Russian invasion, as well as his calling for and directing an insurrection meant to seize the Presidency by force. If the Senate falls, The GOP will capture an even larger share of the Judicial Branch than McConnell stole after the 2014 Midterms.
Democracy is precious. We all need to vote solidly blue to save it.
I think we need nothing short of a RICO that sweeps up all of these dark money organizations. Money is the thing that is ultimately driving the conspiracy. If we don’t get the money they may fund a war to save themselves. During the Business Plot, one tycoon said he was willing to spend half his fortune to save the other half. My hope is that Fanny Willis will save the day.
