Mike Johnson: Two Heartbeats to Gilead

Religion has reasserted itself as weapon of mass destruction in the form of a self-hating cult member

I’ve written and posted a lot about the latest manufactured clash of ancient religions fueled by unfettered propaganda—and led by compromised leaders—in the Middle East. The new holy war is just the same old fairy tale that has been used by psychopaths to mass murder people for millennia.

The harsh reality we collectively need to accept is that religion is a very efficient way to radicalize people—especially because of the internet. QAnon was mixed with neo-fascist Christian symbology and slogans from the beginning for a reason—because it is a gateway to creating undue influence aka “brainwashing.”

Religious “faith” can also be thought of as magical thinking—a way to separate logic, reason & what your five senses tell you, from what you believe. The problem is this is being exploited as a launch point for much more radical ideologies.

Although I’m an atheist, I try very hard to treat other people’s beliefs with respect—unless those beliefs cause you to promote bigotry, theocracy or genocide.

That’s why I not only have no respect for the beliefs of the new Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, I find his position 2 heartbeats from the presidency to be flat out frightening. Johnson is a “7 Mountains dominionist” which means that he not only doesn’t respect the Constitution, he is a Christian soldier with the goal of replacing the US Government with his christofascist cult.

Mike Johnson is an arsonist with the keys to the house. He truly believes Christianity must take over the world in order to usher in the End Times.

Mike Johnson believes women should be subservient to men. He believes LGBTQ+ people should be eliminated. He supports Israel because his cult believes that’s where Jesus will come in the Rapture—while Jews will be “left behind” to die.

In the meantime, he has no financial records, at all.

He is currently blocking aid to Ukraine and pushing through aid to Israel because his cult believes Russia’s victory is necessary to the End Times “prophecy” which includes Christians keeping Muslims out of Jerusalem.

It is no less than insane to have this man with access to the nation’s secrets. He’s attempting to change US foreign policy by gaming out “God’s plan” based on 2,000 year old fan fiction about the Jewish Torah (New Testament), and 40-year old Christian sci-fi by apocalyptic cult leaders (“Left Behind,” etc.).

In short, the goal of the 2nd-in-line to the president is the overthrow of the US Government on the Road to Armageddon, and he’s happy to work with Vladimir Putin to make it happen.

National security threat does not begin to cover this situation.

Yet the press and the government largely shrug their shoulders, while Mike Johnson proves from day one neither the Constitution, nor the best interests of the United States are important.

The first ten words in the Bill of Rights are:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”

We have lost the entire plot.
