Radioactive Tsunami: Narcissistic Collapse & the Case of Donald Trump

Everyone is coming for him. What next?

As I’ve often said, the best way to understand the enemy is to listen to them. There is no better example of this than the work of Julia Davis, who translates what the Russians say to their own people in near real time. Thanks to her, I’ve listened to innumerable rants by the most prominent propagandists on Russian state media, including Vladimir Solovyov, but this one is different.

Solovyov is making a direct nuclear threat at the United States on Russian state television, using dehumanizing language about Americans being like “stinky vomit” and “crabs on the pubes on the body of a frightening, evil, aggressive, global capitalist monster.” This isn’t the usual mockery and casual nuke-waving.

While the imagery of a “radioactive tsunami” is intentionally garish, what Solovyov is saying is actually possible. Regardless, it’s a steep escalation in rhetoric and he isn’t alone in coming for Trump.

It is preferable to bomb Iran or to renew nuclear escalation with Russia, than keep promise to American people. What Trump is doing now is simply disgusting. It is Biden 2.0.

The disgust that Solovyov and Dugin are expressing is hardly less pointed in Trump’s own supporters. I have seen his personality cult absorb a lot of hits to their image of him, but the unbelievably pathetic way his regime has handled the Epstein matter has truly shaken the faithful in a way I’ve never seen.
