Leon Trotsky said “you may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.” This quote sums up our situation very well.
The collective blindness of US citizens, politicians and press to the fifth column of Putin loyalists being created under our noses is a national disgrace and a national emergency. It is the greatest threat to American democracy since the Civil War. And we are, essentially, ignoring it.
There is no longer any question about what’s happening. For decades, Putin has been waging asymmetric war on the United States — not primarily using Russians, but using compromised Americans. KGB officer Vladimir Putin is famously unhappy about the fall of the Soviet empire and he sees the United States as the reason.
Putin’s project, largely created by Aleksandr Dugin, is the return of a vast Russian Empire — under the euphemism “Eurasianism.” This would, in theory, create a “multipolar world” with Moscow as the Third Rome. In reality, it’s simply genocide.
This totalist ideology means for Putin that Ukraine must be his primary geographical target, and the United States must be his primary geopolitical target. As I recently wrote, the United States is the “western front” of the Kremlin’s war on global liberal democracy. Putin knows it, but Americans still don’t.
As soon as Putin took power — through bombing his own citizens and running smear campaigns on his opponents — he began active measures on America. The Russian psyops and propaganda began pouring in, largely through the new invention of the internet.
For example, here’s a prototype of “Q” — from 22 years ago, on a pure Kremlin propaganda website.
For a quarter century, this asymmetric war has raged on, slowly grinding down American sanity, but when Mike Flynn sat with Putin in 2015, after Flynn allowed Putin to seize Crimea, the slow grind became a psychological blender.
For nearly eight years, we have been on the receiving end of a massive project by the Kremlin, in conjunction with American traitors like Mike Flynn, to brainwash us into murdering each other. Putin knew he could never win militarily, so his alternative was to get us to go to war on ourselves. It’s working.
Here’s long time seditionist Pizzagate/QAnon propagandist for Mike Flynn, Ann Vandersteel, making very clear what you are instructed to believe.
Importantly, the reason you should believe her is Putin said so.
It is now open psychological, irregular, hybrid war on behalf of the Kremlin — just a plain to see Russian fifth column.
And yet the press and the government continues to treat this like politics, or a free speech issue, or anything but the reality — which is that in spite of all the accusations of “BlueAnon” against those of us who’ve been warning about it, the reason for all of this is, indeed, the fucking Russians.
